Is he into me as much as I am into him?

I started dating this guy who I like alot. He lives 4 hours away from me I want to make it work. Im scared because I don't want to get hurt. He asked me if I would only be his, I said yes but I don't think this means we are a couple does it?

Anyway he has gone back to his town and Im always the first to text or email him. Im send him messages that I miss him he does respond but like an hour later. I am starting to think that he may not be into me as much as I am into him. Am I reading too much into this text messaging thing?


My answer:

Take a deep breath and take a step back. It is too early to know if he is "the one", so instead of putting yourself through a lot of stress, rather enjoy what you have now.

Be in the moment, if he calls or text, answer and enjoy the moment and then get on with your life as per usual. If he is into you he will reach out to you and pursue you.

Do not initiate with texts or calls; let him come to you. You are the prize, the treasure he wants. Do not go after him offering sweet words in the hope of him realizing how special you are. Nobody wants a treasure tapping them on the shoulder tapping saying: "I'm still here, look at me, please like and love me"

What I'm basically saying is wait for him to pursue you. At this stage he should do the chasing and you should do the deciding.
