Flirting types

Understanding flirting types will give you a definite advantage when it comes to flirting and how to deal with it.

Although we all use all of our senses to experience life, there will always be one type of sensory perception that tends to dominate.

Are you a "feelings" type who are ruled by your emotions and heart?
Or are you a "visual" person who judge thing by how they look and are presented to the world?
Or are you tuned in to how things "sound" to you and stick to facts, logic and taking things at face value?

Figure out what type of person you are dealing with and you can develop a very successful flirting style. It can also help you to figure out very quickly whether the person you have your eye on will do for you or not.

Sensory perception and the way we therefore flirt and interact, can be divided into three broad flirting types:

  1. Visual
  2. Auditory
  3. Kinesthetic

Visual people communicate and experience life by what they see. They have vivid imaginations and are able to “picture” something with their words.

“See what I mean?”

Auditory persons filter life by what they hear. This person is logical and analytical and will not easily be convinced with smooth words.

“Hear what I’m saying?”

Kinesthetic people experience life by what they feel and touch. They are intuitive, feeling types that can easily get hurt despite a seemingly hedonistic outlook on life.

“Do you feel the same?”

How to identify a flirting type?

Easy … Just watch the way their eyes move. Our eyes move up, down and sideways as the brain process information. Every movement of the eye indicates a certain sense. Pinpoint where someone mostly looks and you will know who’s who.

Visual people tend to look up, as if seeing their imagination drawing a picture in the sky.

Auditory persons eyes move to the side, as if towards the ears.

Kinesthetics look down towards their feeling-centre: the heart.
