Does he like me?
Lips.
If he likes you, his lips will automatically part (for a short moment) when he looks into your eyes for the first time.
Raised eyebrows.
If he looks at you with relaxed, smooth eyebrows (blank face), he finds you boring. Slightly raised eyebrows indicates interest or even attraction.
Eyebrow flash.
This can be seen in both sexes. When you like someone, your eyebrows move up (for a nano-second) when you see them for the first time. This is another little trick Mother Nature uses to make us appear more attractive – when your eyebrows lifts, it opens up your eyes to make them appear larger, brighter and more inviting.
Preening.
He is fiddling with his clothes in order to make him look better for you. He will pull at his sleeves, smooth down his lapel, quickly make sure his belt is in place, stroke his tie and (the dead give-away) pulls up or adjust his socks.
Hair.
Take a peek over your shoulder when you go to the loo – if he fusses with his hair it is a very good sign.
Separation.
If he is with a group, he will stand slightly apart from them in order to be seen as an individual.
Attracting attention.
He will try to draw your attention to him by moving, by making an adjustment to his clothes, standing up and sitting down again or even by becoming loud or taking over the conversation when in a group.
Showing off.
He will arrange his body in such a way as to show off his best attributes. He will pull his stomach in, square his shoulders and even flex his muscles. His face will open up (parted lips, widened eyes, raised eyebrows, smiling more than usual) into a friendly “open” expression.
Checking you out.
This is different from giving you a quick scan when you look away. He will openly look you over, letting you know he is looking you over. There is nothing subtle about this and is a sure signal that he wants to get physical with you.
Lots of touching.
The more he likes you, the more he will touch you. He will lean his upper body towards you, take you by the elbow or put his hand on the small of your back when walking, accidentally bump into you, invade your space by moving his wine glass into your side of the table, brush against your hand or arm when emphasizing a point. Lots of accidental but on purpose touching will happen.
It can be easy to get an answer to your question: "does he like me?" if you know what to look for!
