Creative date ideas

The key to being creative is the ability to take an ordinary idea and to tweak it into something out of the ordinary - unique date ideas.

Planning a creative dating idea is not very difficult, but will need a bit of planning and thinking out of the box.

The required planning for a creative date will however be worth the trouble, as your date will see you as a interesting, exciting person, set apart from the usual, boring daters. You will stand out in their memory as someone who valued them enough to plan a special date and someone they will be wanting to spend more time with.

In order to assist you in your creative thinking process, let’s take the concept of an ordinary dinner date and expand on it. Take note that the possibilities are endless and the only limits are your imagination.

Change a boring, predictable dinner to any of the following suggestions:

  1. Go to a park, a gazebo, an old cemetery or the top of a building and order a pizza.
  2. Sign the both of you up for a cooking class.
  3. Order Chinese take-aways and eat it sitting on the floor.
  4. Enjoy a formal dinner during a hot air balloon ride.
  5. Go hiking and at the end of the trail have a romantic dinner ready.
  6. Get a pizza and drive to the airport to watch planes take off.
  7. Dress in your best and go to McDonald’s.
  8. Shop for and cook a gourmet meal together.
  9. Have breakfast at night.

A creative date can be anything that you want it to be – from crazy, zany, fun, just friendly, see what happens, to heart melting, romantic, unforgettable.
