Boyfriend and someone else

I've been chatting online with someone from another city. We really like each other, until yesterday when he got annoyed with me. I asked him if he wanted to come to my city to meet me and I moaned at him for not txting me back sometimes.

He says that my having a boyfiend puts him of from coming to see me. I have a boyfriend but we seldom see each other any more, its basically over.

I asked this guy if he still feels something for me and he says that he doesn'g know anymore, I rubbed him the wrong way. Is he just saying that because I moaned at him for not texting me back? I don't know what to do?

I want to dump my boyfriend but doesn't this new guy to thing I'm doing it for him. I don't want him to have that power over me when I haven't even met him yet..

Firstly, it is not right to chat with other guys while you have a boyfriend, even if you don't see him a lot. The new guy is showing great integrity when he feels uncomfortable with you having a boyfriend. Break it off with your boyfriend and only then move on to someone else.

The new guy is probably wondering if you would do the same thing to him when you don't see each other for a while. Not a good thing.

Secondly, you are not giving him power over you when you break up with your boyfriend. You should tell him you broke up with your ex since that relationship has reached its end.

You are now free to see if this thing between you has a future. If not, you can find someone else - there are a lot of fish in the sea.
